Know Your Value

The Key To Healthy Relationships

In my journey through dating, relationships, and the inevitable failed talking stages, I’ve learned one crucial lesson: Your value increases when you truly recognize it. A good woman will never feel truly valued in an environment that isn’t prepared to appreciate her. It’s a hard truth, but it’s one I’ve tested time and again.

Men often struggle to let go of a good thing. They know they have something special in a good woman, yet they also realize they’re not ready for the commitment she deserves. Instead of encouraging her to explore her options, they hold onto her out of fear: What if I’m ready in three months and she’s moved on? This kind of thinking can make a woman feel guilty for prioritizing her own needs.

It’s easy to hope that with time, he will see her for who she is and be ready to commit. However, more often than not, the reality is that he’s preoccupied with his own challenges and uncertainties, rather than being focused on the relationship.

It doesn’t matter how much potential he has or how wonderful he could be if only she could be a little more patient. If it’s meant to be, he will return when he’s ready. If not, it’s simply a sign that they were never meant to be together. Some people enter our lives to teach us important lessons or to be friends, yet many women become so infatuated with the idea of love that they overlook the value of other connections. This fixation can lead to missed opportunities for meaningful friendships.

So, to every woman dating someone who isn’t fully prepared to pursue a relationship, my advice is to be their friend and keep exploring your options. Embrace the possibility of other connections because life is incredibly short. Don’t slow down or pause your journey for someone who isn’t ready to make room for you in their life.

Nothing is more off-putting than a man who is indecisive and slow to act. I’ve learned that being too patient can hinder your growth. Allow only those who are genuinely ready to pursue you to take that step. Remember, you deserve someone who recognizes your worth and acts on it.
